Job Responsibilities
- Support our senior sector bankers and/or provide industry insights to Asia Pacific branches and related HO divisions through in-depth research, business and financial analysis.
- Engage Mizuho's customers or prospects in sector driven strategic discussions, develop marketing plan, and originate business opportunities in collaboration with Mizuho's branches and global product team.
- Help prepare and/or directly provide sector outlook, forecasts, and analysis on selected industries when requested, and hold industry teach-in when appropriate.
- Help liaise with branches/offices in Asia and Head Office for credit approval when required.
Job Requirements
Your key roles & responsibilities include:
- At least 3 years of relevant corporate finance experience, having obtained this preferably from accounting, advisory or financial institutions. Other relevant experiences in large corporate or multi-national companies will also be considered.
- Must be comfortable in a largely research and analytical role, but with the ability to convert the analysis into business ideas / advice that would appeal to our corporate clients.
- Must be comfortable and confident in presenting own analysis to senior management executives of our corporate clients (CFO, Group Treasurer). In addition, the candidate must be flexible to travel;
- The candidate must be a strong team player, with an entrepreneur spirt towards customer engagment.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or related disciplines is a minimum requirement for applicants, while MBA or Post-Graduate qualifications in Finance or CFA accreditation would be highly desirable.
- Knowledge of either Agriculture, Agri commodities, Food & Beverage, Retail, Agtech or Foodtech sectors is a plus
- Experience using Capital IQ, Factset, Bloomberg, Eikon Thompson Reuters is also welcome.
