Responsibilities
The role is responsible for providing Collections MIS, Reporting and Analysis support for:
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of department daily and monthly reporting of portfolio and credit loss performance to Management as well as external stakeholders.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of Regulatory (MAS) reporting.
- Provide MIS support, to monitor the delinquency rates of Secured and Unsecured facilities.
- To track and analyse portfolio performances.
- Maintain monthly capacity model and carry out yearly capacity planning.
- Maintain daily reporting to monitor collection staff performance to ensure adherence to key performance indicators.
- Support collection action/strategy through the usage of internal and external data.
- Regular monitoring to ensure that there are no unauthorised maintenance made to accounts in host system.
- Regular monitoring of restructured accounts' payments.
- Coordinate and support system migration projects from MIS.
- Assist Collection department in automating the manual reporting process.
- Support regional reporting & perform time sensitive ad hoc reviews for business/collections.
- Support platform conversion activities, SAS exit involving code translation activities from SAS to Python and participate in identifying the necessary data for ingestion to ADA.
- In addition, there is an increasing number of system migration projects (such as Aggregated Regional Credit Risk Info Management Hub -ARCH etc), which require the team to involve and support from MIS perspective, conducting UAT.
- Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Analytics, or related disciplines; with at least 2-3 years of exposure in consumer credit industry.
- With hands-on experience on data mining and analysing large datasets, strong programming skills of SAS/Python.
- Good understanding of consumer credit standard and collection management in a financial institution is an added advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint & Access).
- Self-motivated and Meticulous, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a contributing team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
