This is a senior position responsible for the development and management of cash management and liquidity products for Singapore, managing a team of product managers, and overseeing the deployment of regional solutions to support clients expanding in our network.

[A] Product Management (comprising Payments, Receivables, Account Services and Liquidity Management)
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead in product and design ideation, drawing inputs from active engagement with Business Units and client facing teams for identification of emerging needs and client pain points, as well as having a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, to provide value added solutions for client needs
  • Drive short to medium term digital product strategy to future-proof the business from the rapid changes and disruptions in the marketplace
  • Execute the "Global Design, Local Implementation" strategy through engagement with stakeholders in the region to deploy regional product development and builds quickly into the other markets for rapid impact
  • Lead and actively participate in the discussion and management of the technology book of work - for both the front-end client platforms as well as backend system build, by working closely with country product, operations and technology and focusing / tracking on proper budgeting, prioritization, project planning and delivery and tracking the tangible outcomes

[B] Portfolio Management (Liabilities and Interest Rate Management)
Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for managing deposits products, setting strategies, providing direction to the Business Units and GTB Sales, and budgetary management - including active management of clients' interest rates and the deposits book.
  • Represent GTB on the ALCO Steering Committee and work with partners in Corporate Treasury, Finance and Market Risk Management to align objectives for management of liabilities.

Qualifications
Qualifications and Competencies:
  • At least 15 years of experience
  • Proven track record of successfully managing in a large and complex business
  • Thorough financial acumen and P&L management experience
  • Proven track record as change agent, with ability to encourage and embrace innovative ideas and solutions
  • Proven track record of bringing diverse groups and perspectives to work against a common goal
  • Practical knowledge and experience in mapping out client journeys and translating into a set customer experience/business outcomes
  • Intellectual curiosity, proactively seeks and develops new opportunities
  • Excellent analytical, interpretive and problem-solving skills and conceptual thinker
  • Process Management knowledge with a propensity for detail and comprehensiveness of content
  • High emphasis on "getting to yes" and building intercompany relationships
  • Excellent in presenting strategic objectives to senior management, gaining support for key initiatives and then providing regular updates on the progress
  • Ability to coordinate effectively in a multicultural and multiregional environment
  • Ability to achieve results through collaboration and networking
