About the Department
The Wholesale Bank function operates a dynamic business model that provides financial services and solutions to help our clients achieve their strategic business objectives. Our mission is to become the premier-provider of banking services and solutions for Asia-based commercial banking companies (small medium enterprises), large corporations, financial institutions as well as multinational corporations. Our coverage teams work in full alignment with specialised teams across Transaction Banking, Investment Banking, Global Markets and Group Retail to deliver seamless solutions to our clients.

Job Responsibilities
To enhance the bank's Securitisation & Structured Debt product capabilities within the Investment Banking Division. The individual will support the execution of a robust product business plan and will help enhance the client experience.

Key responsibilities
  • Support the team's origination efforts and delivery of business plans
  • Deliver a strong client experience
  • Play a leading and pro-active role in the credit assessment / transaction execution process: drafting and negotiating term sheets, undertaking due diligence, data analysis, financial modelling, preparing credit papers, managing legal documentation and presentations
  • Enhance collaboration with key internal stakeholders such as RMs, Credit/Risk, Legal, Treasury etc.
  • Ensure internal requirements are adhere to
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations and guidelines
  • Coach and train junior team members to build up the team's capability


Job Requirements
  • 5+ years of banking/finance experience with exposure structured finance transactions
  • Bachelor's degree from a recognized university
  • Proficient in modelling and using key systems such as Bloomberg, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills
  • Intellectually curious with a positive, growth mindset
  • Independent with high levels of drive, initiative and integrity
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive under pressure and tight deadlines
  • A meticulous, strong team player with excellent people skills and highly adaptable to changes
