Product Mgmt Lead Analyst

Responsibilities:

Partner and Support the Asia Regional Wealth Management Governance Head on the following:

• Monitoring governance trends and manage significant issues on the distribution of Wealth Management products: Investments, Deposits, FX and Wealth Advisory.
• Consult on internal policies and procedure requirements and external regulatory changes to identify the potential impact across the region, requirements for adherence and track implementation
• Co-ordinate and conduct the quarterly Regional Investments Supervisory Committee, Regional Consumer Fiduciary Committee meetings and Regional FX Supervisory Forum. Ensure submission of meeting materials and minutes and tracking of all follow-up items. Ensure meeting charters (where required) are updated periodically.
• Manage updates / deliverables to the US Regulators as per defined schedules
• Oversee and work with the markets across the region where there are any policy implementation/governance/control initiatives relevant to Wealth Management
• Oversee Volcker Policy adherence for the trading desks through regular engagement with regional/global stakeholders and the Volcker Rules Office (VRO) team on reviews / initiatives
• Manage and ensure adherence of the regional procedures on Risk Profiling, Investment Certification, Investment Surveillance, Online Risk Profiling Product distribution, Regional Procedure on Sale of Foreign Exchange (FX) Products and ensure procedure refresh is performed in accordance to requirements.
• Define the key processes and controls pertaining to the distribution of investment products as part of the Regional Consumer Controls Procedures Manual (RCCPM)
• Manage the regional Manager's Control Assessment (MCA) gold copy for wealth management products to be used by all countries for quarterly self-assessments; including Key Automated Controls
• Perform the execution of the Manager's Control Assessment (MCA) for Regional Wealth Management Assessment Unit
• Liaise with internal audit on any clarification pertaining to observations, issues and IBAMs raised in country and regional audits and work with Countries and regional teams to ensure corrective actions are implemented and sustainability achieved. Ensure Audit and Compliance assurance readiness for Regional & Country wealth management teams and the trading desks to achieve pass rate of 90% and IBAM rate of 50%.
• Work on Wealth Management related scenario analyses and engagement with regional functions across Products, Compliance, Legal, Investment Product Risk and Control functions

Job Skills & Qualifications:

• 6-10 years of relevant experience (financial sector with wide investment and distribution knowledge)
• Bachelor degree with experience in business, finance or economics desirable
• Possessing strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of key regulations governing Investment products across Asia.
• Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Demonstrated analytical and influencing skills
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
