The Job :
  • Monitoring business applications and services as a Level2 Prod support personnel
  • Handle production incident life cycle, performing root-cause analysis and follow through till resolution co-coordinating with Development and Infrastructure teams;
  • Ensure clients and management are kept up to date. Provide guidance, assistance, coordination and follow up on complex problems and ensure resolution
  • Pro-actively seek to minimize potential application support problems through root cause analysis and monitoring.
  • Writing and running scripts on DB for ad-hoc reports, user requests.
  • Parsing and analysing data feeds as well as error checking
  • Accountable for Incident, problem and change-management and IT service management processes, proven in balancing multiple major incidents
  • Contribute in the Week-end release implementation support, Infrastructure and Application maintenance activities including the QMW, DR and BCP.
  • Resource must also be able to create/maintain documentation related to support activities
  • Extend knowledge and develop expertise in specific systems and business areas. Provide expert opinion on issues and queries affecting the functionality and design of the systems being looked after
  • Strong experience in Scenario code review, perform data and alert validation and deep dive analysis if issues arise, and tune scenario performance if needed.
The Successful Candidate :
  • Degree in Computer Science and Engineering / Equivalent
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in providing L2 Production Support
  • Extensive experience in UNIX & Windows environment
  • Good in Oracle PL/SQL and data analysis
  • Worked on shell scripting
  • Hands on experience in batch scheduler like Ctrl-M or AutoSys
  • Intermediate level knowledge of monitoring and support tools like GENEOS, Informatica, Splunk & ServiceNow.
  • Well versed in debugging and Monitoring of Informatica workflows
  • Exposure to Reference Data, Securities and Products within Investment Banking domain
  • Basic understanding of Apache Kafka knowledge (hands-on couple months experience)
  • Familiarity with end-to-end batch process to monitor transactions on Oracle FCCM/Mantas platform and implementation experience with Anti-Money Laundering domain knowledge.
  • Adept in Compliance, and Anti-Money Laundering applications such as AIS, SAM, eRCM, etc. of Actimize
