We are see king an Assistant Vice President/Vice President level candidate for the Reward Strategies team in Talent & Organization Strategy. The team is responsible for the design and implementation of GIC's compensation, benefits, and performance management policies globally and across all business units.
We are looking for someone with the experience and creativity to suggest and implement policy change, ability to communicate to senior stakeholders, and ability to deal with details. This is an individual contributor role and will be reporting to the Head of Reward Strategies.

Responsibilities
- Be a thought leader who can partner with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition to advise and deliver workable solutions to business on compensation, benefits and performance management strategies
- Assist with structuring compensation offers including valuing deferred compensation buyouts
- Undertake ad hoc market analysis, job evaluations, compensation modelling and diagnostics
- Coordinate the annual compensation process end-to-end, including the annual benchmarking exercise
- Keep abreast of the latest news as it relates to compensation, benefits and performance management practices
- Manage multiple projects across multiple teams within HR and across departments
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in economics, statistics, finance or related field
- 6 - 9 years of experience in compensation, including salary and incentive compensation, market surveys, analysis, research and modelling
- Strong strategic and analytical skills
- Excellent MS Excel skills
- Strong consultative/communication skills and has the ability to influence decisions
- Ability to work independently and part of a team
- Knowledge of financial services industry would be a strong asset
