Region Head of Transactional & Digital FX - Asia Global Wealth Management

Roles & Responsibilities

The Foreign Exchange business is a key component of the Asia Global Wealth Management business. Being a global and the largest trader of foreign exchange flows, Citi enjoys a pre-eminent position in the FX business. The spectrum of products offered include: 1) FX Spot and Forwards 2) Margin FX 3) Loan Swaps 4) Premium Accounts 5) OTC Options. The target client segments include Citigold, Citigold Private Clients & Citi Private Bank.

This role works with the Asia CGW Head of Investments to drive the Transactional & Digital FX & PA agenda across Asia.

• Drive the Transactional & Digital FX/PA P&L across Asia.
• Conceptualize & implement the Transactional & Digital FX/PA product strategy for the region, including product roadmaps, product development, program launches, and program marketing.
• Devise relevant and measurable metrics across businesses and implement them as KPIs and follow-up with periodic reviews with stakeholders.
• Drive digitization strategies for the business including managing rollouts and enhancements of both eFX (trading) & Citibank Global Wallet (transactional) and their required commercialization efforts.
• Liaise with Digital Sales and Marketing to deliver a go-to execution marketing playbook to grow Digital FX volumes and revenue.
• Liaise with DCX to deliver best in class online FX client journeys.
• Ensure optimal pricing definitions for Transactional & Digital FX Products across the region.
• Lead and closely collaborate with various stake holders across Compliance, Legal, CBORC, Risk, Operations & Technology to constantly assess the stability of the Digital FX business model to be in compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree from a recognized university, preferably from Banking, Finance or Economics.
• 12- 15 years of relevant experience in retail banking, preferably in treasury products across front, middle or back-office roles.
• Advanced level of analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Strong knowledge of treasury products including Spot FX, Forwards, margin FX and FX options
• Strong knowledge of product platforms and operational processes supporting the FXPA business
• Project management experience
• Basic understanding of governance & risk management in relation workflow analysis
• Basic understanding of the regulatory framework applicable to treasury products and key industry wide issues
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills

• Advanced excel and PowerPoint skills
