About the Department
The Wholesale Bank function operates a dynamic business model that provides financial services and solutions to help our clients achieve their strategic business objectives. Our mission is to become the premier-provider of banking services and solutions for Asia-based commercial banking companies (small medium enterprises), large corporations, financial institutions as well as multinational corporations. Our coverage teams work in full alignment with specialised teams across Transaction Banking, Investment Banking, Global Markets and Group Retail to deliver seamless solutions to our clients.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the COE sub-sector heads in the TMT Sector (particularly covering the Software, Telecom and Digital Business sub-sectors) for the development and execution of sector-specific initiatives and solutions, working seamlessly with the various Coverage Segments (Corporate Banking, MNC, Commercial Banking, Business Banking) and Product Partners.
  • Support the COE sub-sector heads for preparing and execution of account plan to increase the wallet share / penetrate new relationships of strategic client groups jointly with coverage banker and product partners.
  • Support the COE sub-sector heads in:
    • preparing support memos including credit analysis,
    • executing, tracking and reporting of sector/sub-sector initiative and rollouts,
    • prepare insight packs (soundbites, insights) together with Insights Analysts and
    • prepare client pitchbooks


Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related major - Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Management
  • At least 7 years' experience in a similar role and/or Corporate / Commercial banking in Asia in a client serving role; or at least 7 years' business or commercial experience in the Sector either in a treasury management or business development role - need to have good understanding of banking related products;
  • Good understanding of Credit (Loan), Cash Management, Trade Financing, and Risk Management hedging products and solutions (rates, currencies)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Have demonstrated experience in working across functional teams and stakeholders
  • Numerate and excellent MS Office skills (PPT, XLS especially)
