The Project Management role is responsible for the delivery, management, and governance of Equity Operations business. The role offers the opportunity to support and manage all types of projects from across the Futures & Derivatives Clearing and Equities Derivatives Group businesses. It aims to deliver all on a regional and global scale with opportunity to develop and expand skills across multiple line of businesses. It focuses on managing the implementation of change driven by both internal and external mandatory, regulatory and strategic changes for the Asia region and globally.

You will be part of the team as Project Manager/Business Analyst of Global Equities Operations Transformation in Singapore leading the delivery of Strategic, Mandatory and Regulatory Projects for the Global Equities Business.

Global Equities Operations Transformation covers the following areas:
  • Strategic system implementation and re-engineering.
  • New product and market expansion.
  • Regulatory change.
  • Efficiency and controls agenda.
  • Business process improvements across Operations, Front Office & Technology.
  • Client delivery & strategy.
Summary of Responsibilities
  • Project Manager/Business Analyst leading the delivery of Strategic, Mandatory and Regulatory Projects for Global Equities Business.
  • Role encompasses business analysis to identify, assess and articulate near-term business needs, advise businesses on options, risks, and costs of technology solutions versus benefits.
  • Maintain a robust and auditable governance process to ensure accurate and timely delivery of overall project.
  • Identify process, resourcing, system, and interface impacts resulting from these initiatives; working in partnership with key stakeholders e.g., business, technology, compliance, risk, and finance as required.
  • Effectively translates business requirements into value-added, comprehensive solutions and test plans using appropriate processes, procedures, and technology.
  • Manage Change Implementation into BAU through standard project methodologies; ensuring control framework requirements are met.
  • Coordinate the collation of supporting documentation throughout the Project.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Produce project reporting for Management and Stakeholders.
  • Coordinate the logistics around setting up meetings, creation of agenda's, documentation, and communication of minutes / follow up actions
  • Drive the initiatives forward, provide leadership, direction and focus for business functions and project resources.
  • Effective issue escalation management.
  • Participate in strategy and planning to influence investment decisions based on operational needs
Our Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant Project Management / Change Management experience is required
  • Prior experience in Markets Operations and/or Financial industry is highly preferred
  • Experience in employing innovative tools such as Tableau and Alteryx is advantageous
  • Knowledge of Equities, Futures & Options and Derivatives financial trading products.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, able to take the lead in unstructured situations, including seizing new opportunities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to partner with all types of stakeholders, at all levels across the business areas including senior executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Independent, proactive worker with the ability to quickly understand complex subject matter and demonstrate critical thinking.
  • Works well under pressure with the ability to multi-task with Controls mindset
  • Project Management certification(s) is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
