Our client is a European fund manager whom are globally recognised for their ESG investment capabilities. They are looking for an ESG Equity Analyst to be based in their Asia office located in Singapore. This is a newly created headcount within the global equities team to address the growing needs of their Asian clients.

The ideal candidate should come with minimum 5 years' experience as an equity research analyst, with experience in covering technology or industrials sectors. ESG experience is not a must but highly preferred. A CFA charterholder.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Conduct in-depth equity research in line with the team's investment philosophy and process.
- Incorporate ESG into the research process and equity valuation.
- Have a generalist approach with an ability to link investment opportunities to sustainable themes.
- Cover existing holdings as well as generating new investment cases.
- Contribute to a solid analytical platform, with other skilled analysts covering different sectors and regions, and in that way support the overall Equities team with investment ideas.
- Be part of the growing presence in Asia and represent the team in portfolio-related client communication in the region. Work travels Europe and Asia is required.
Requirement
- Possess good analytical capabilities and be a self-starter.
- Previous experience as generalist equity analyst and with ESG/ covering sectors such as Technology and Industrials are highly preferred.
- A true interest in ESG and equities and a passion for understanding business models and industries.
- Good teamwork skills and ability to thrive in an open intellectual constructive environment.
- A high energy level and mindset to achieve goals coupled with ability to work effectively in an international team.
- Great English written and verbal communication skills.
