We are looking for a multi-asset Portfolio Manager for the Advisory Portfolio Management Team (APM), a centralised fee-based advisory unit within Portfolio Management & Research Office (PMRO), a department of the Product and Management Group (PMG) at Bank of Singapore.
APM offers multi asset portfolio investment advisory services. Clients can actively participate in the investment process with the support of a dedicated portfolio manager. The role involves regular contact with clients and to provide proactive and personalised investment recommendations.
The service is aimed at Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) Individuals and family offices who seek customized portfolio solutions with a focus on portfolio risk management

Main Duties:
- To build up and manage a book of clients.
- Understand individual client's portfolio objectives and advise a suitable investment strategy.
- Proactively communicate Bank of Singapore investment ideas in line with the client's targeted asset allocation and investment profile.
- Perform periodic portfolio reviews, re-balancing and continuously monitor portfolios in respect to alignment of risk versus client's portfolio objectives
- Ensure fast and accurate execution of trade orders across APM portfolios
- Maintain and contribute to the team's model portfolios.
- Participation in projects including portfolio risk related, client management and other new initiatives
- Ensure compliance with regulatory changes, policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Degree. CFA qualification or equivalent preferred.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin as the role requires communicating with Mandarin speaking clients.
Competency Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years of portfolio management experience with proven track record.
- Capability to manage Multi-Asset Portfolios.
- Possess a good understanding of portfolio construction and risk management as well as hedging strategies involving derivative instruments.
- Experience in high performance environment requiring portfolio management as well as strong interpersonal skills to interact with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and sales skills is required.
