Geographical Coverage: Asia Pacific & Middle East

Base Location: Singapore or Australia (also open to other locations within Asia Pacific & Middle East)

Summary of Role

Oversight of Workplace Services and Facilities operations across a portfolio of Class A office locations, ensuring that all locations provide a safe, efficient, and welcoming business delivery environment. The Senor Manager role encompasses strategic and operational oversight of corporate support functions including but not limited to: Workplace Services and office administration, facilities management, workplace health and safety, business continuity and emergency preparedness, staff performance and development, compliance and audit program activities, vendor services, finance and budget/spend management. The ideal candidate is an experienced leader and subject matter expert in delivering best-in-class workplace services programs within healthcare (non-clinical) business delivery office facilities.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Ensure all facilities across assigned portfolio are properly operated and maintained, with a focus on building and occupant safety, workplace services and office administration deliverables, financial performance, location function/aesthetics and continued readiness.
  • Development, implementation, and adherence to operational policies, procedures and best practices.
  • Managing portfolio staffing levels and performance, directing managers and support staff at assigned locations. Perform consistent and frequent leadership, coaching, development, performance management and payroll processing to a team of staff directly and virtually.
  • Ability to directly and remotely support critical facility service disruptions and building emergency response efforts as required, leading crisis management responses and providing direction on best course of action to meet recovery time objectives.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with executive-level stakeholders, location leadership, and key internal contacts.
  • Supports client-driven project initiatives in coordination with IT, Real Estate, Finance, Security, and internal partners.
  • Implementation and oversight of 3rd party vendor services via creation RFPs, SOWs and service agreements/contracts.
  • Execution of internal and external audit processes, certification programs, and compliance.
  • Stewardship of quality assurance programs and metrics to include development and continued assessment of Key and Critical Performance Indicators aimed at driving operational efficiencies, improvements, and customer satisfaction.
Experience & Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree required, Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum 15 years' experience managing workplace services and office facilities teams across a regional or national portfolio: Preferably locations having >300 seated staff.
  • Credentials such as (IFMA) Facilities Management Professional or Certified Facility Manager credential along with additional relevant certifications may be considered alongside professional experience in lieu of degree.
  • Demonstration of progressive management experience with ability to manage and develop teams of staff directly and remotely.
  • Ability to demonstrate and act upon a thorough understanding of facilities and workplace services operations within a high-demand corporate services environment.
  • Ability to handle multiple demands to set priorities, maintain a high level of attention to detail, and complete top quality work in a timely manner.
  • Strong problem-solving skills in dealing with ambiguity in a fast-paced setting required.
  • Past experience/relationships working with multiple property management firms, building inspectors and regulatory auditors, facilities and maintenance vendors.
  • Experience with construction and decommission projects, office build-outs, remodels, etc.
  • Strategic Thinker - must have a high level of interpersonal skills in order to manage and deliver results for diverse teams and internal functional areas. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Must have a strong command of the English language, oral and written.
  • Ability to influence, negotiate, and partner with internal clients and external vendors.
  • Position requires proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products, and web-based applications.
  • The incumbent will be required to meet on-site attendance requirements and be available and visible to our clients. This position is not 100% work from home.
  • Ability to travel across locations, potential 10-15% domestic travel to portfolio locations where required.
