Responsibilities
- Supervise and review accounting entries.
- Oversee month end closing and controlling of entity's expenses.
- Review the month end reports to HO and supporting schedules, reconciliation of intercompany balances and issuance of invoices.
- Prepare Monthly/quarterly commentaries and reports for P&L Flash & Actual variances (actual against budget, previous month etc).
- Prepare the annual Budget and Forecast and liaise with Business counterparts.
- Prepare Corporate Income Tax (monthly provision, ECI and tax computation).
- Review quarterly GST returns.
- Review surveys requested from Department of Statistics and MAS.
- Prepare the statutory accounts.
- Address issues and queries from internal and external auditors, MAS, SGX, IRAS.
- Prepare the local file for Transfer Pricing reporting.
- Lead in projects and system enhancements which impacts the financial reporting.
- Liaise with internal functions eg, Business, Operations, Treasury, Credit & HR regularly to resolve issues to enhance financial reporting process.
- Bachelor of Accountancy or equivalent with at least 5-6 years of relevant experience.
- Preference will be given to those with stockbroking or FI experience.
- Strong team player who is meticulous, self-motivated and able to lead a team under demanding reporting timelines.
- Knowledge of Microsoft office will be an added advantage.
