Data Strategy Group
The Data Strategy Group (DSG) harnesses and leverages GIC's most valuable asset - Data - to drive insights, results and solve real business challenges. We ingest, analyse, and combine data with context across all industries and asset classes to enable investment decisions and enhance investment process. Together, we strive to build a high-performance enterprise data infrastructure, create a results-driven approach with data products, and become a data-driven organisation.
We are hiring a Data Platform Engineer (Associate/AVP) to work alongside a team of engineers responsible for key data platforms that underpin the organisation's data products and data activities.
In your new role, you will be part of a team that manages analytics engines, virtualisation and governance platforms. You will gain deep knowledge in these platforms and become a subject matter expert. You will consult for and provide advisory to internal users, and work with Data Product Managers to enable product features through leveraging the platforms. Over time, you will be expected to develop expertise in more than one platform and be able to manage and strategise holistically across multiple platforms.
