Summary:
Responsibilities:
Requirements:
- Assist in the origination, structuring and execution of structured debt transactions within the energy & infrastructure sector across the Asia Pacific region
- Develop experience and knowledge of the markets, products, clients and processes required in delivering innovative non-recourse project financings and other structured debt products
Responsibilities:
- Assist with regular updating of client presentations, marketing materials and market analysis
- Build detailed cash flow models and/or adapt client models to run key structuring analysis
- Assist with the preparation of internal credit and investment committee application packages
- Support the review and drafting of client mandates, advisor appointments and non-disclosure agreements
- Develop an understanding of project financing key principals and credit considerations
- Seek out and participate in internal and external training programmes to further develop key skills
- Assist with market research on new markets and sectors, in line with the SF Origination APAC Strategy
- Build and maintain internal databases, including coordination with global colleagues where necessary
- Maintain awareness of and comply with regulatory requirements and relevant NORD/LB policies, procedures, tools and processes
- Work effectively in a multilingual and multicultural virtual and physical office environment that supports personal freedom and diversity within and outside of the team
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Finance, Science, Engineering or Legal
- Open to fresh graduates or those with up to a year of relevant experience in banking, private equity, power generation, trading or engineering
- Knowledge of project finance cash flow modelling, project finance structures, key financing and project document is preferred but not required
- Keen interest in developing experience in financing and development of large scale renewable energy, social and/or digital infrastructure projects
- Self-motivated, independent worker who is willing to learn and possess a can-do attitude
- Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills
- Strong team orientation with excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to develop relationships with key stakeholders
- Client-focused with a commercial mind-set
- Proficiency in office IT software, especially in Microsoft Office applications
