In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
Responsibilities
- Ensure high level of forecasting accuracy of ATM, ATM+ and BTM+
- Support day to day BAU, timely communication with stakeholders and external vendors on any discrepancies
- Support Self Service Banking (SSB) budget, accruals, risk and control processes
- Coordinate and prepare annual operation budget with thorough consideration of cost saving strategies
- Drive monthly strategic cost management (SCM) initiatives and report associated cost benefits
- Provide monthly financial update on vendor expenses to key stakeholders
- Responsible for cost re-allocation, asset and budget transfer on regular basis
- Perform data analytics on machine faults and identify actionable insights to improve machine uptime
- Deep dive and query root causes and suggest solutions to resolve
- Work within the SSB team to identify productivity initiatives and implement them within the team
- Be able to automate manual processes and suggest process improvements for the department
- Work closely with system owners and technical leads for writing, reviewing Business Requirement document, reviewing Functional Specification, producing and executing UAT test plan for Project-related tasks
- Manage ad-hoc analysis such as statistical and predictive modelling to solve / respond to business questions
- Participate & lead team activities within the unit and department
- Additional scope may be included depending on business needs
- A Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of experience in Business Transformation/ Operational Excellence/ Run Operations within Financial Services industry.
- A certification in PMP will be an advantage
- Familiarity with Consumer Banking Operations and SSB terminals and its operations will be an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage various stakeholders.
- Self starter and ability to multi-task.
- Good analytical and writing skills.
- Ability to work independently, with strong planning and organization skills.
- Advanced skills in MS Office Products and BI tools e.g. Qlikview, Tableau, etc
- Familiar with DBS internal systems e.g. ADA
- Strong technical and applicable experience in analytics languages e.g. Python, R, SAS would be an advantage
- Proficient in SQL and query optimization on e.g. Alluxio, S3, CDSW, Sparkola, Superset, Hadoop, etc, would be an advantage
- Prior experience in Business Analytics
