Job Objective

Our role as the Ecosystems team is to embed our products and solutions into our partners, to disappear into our customer's ecosystems, to disappear into our customers' platforms - to allow our customers to buy, sell, do business, while we take care of their banking experiences - behind the scenes and end-to-end.
IBG Ecosystems comprises of Platform-led and Anchor-led growth engines powered by Analytics & Business Insights to rapidly scale and enabled through the way we work (HO / MtJ). This role will stretch across both engines of growth by identifying ecosystem opportunities in our target industries, sectors or markets (focused especially on Singapore).

A. Identify and map out the ecosystems within our target industries & sectors for new opportunities, business streams and models (incl. B2B2C / D2C) in Singapore & regions
  • Research on latest digital industry trends, covering all corporate banking products including FX, payments/collections
  • Understand digital needs of DBS markets, trends and developing initiatives that are applicable to the geographies stringing together seemingly disjointed pieces to form cohesive value propositions and find incremental revenue streams
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders ie. RMs, Product Heads, Segment Heads etc. to identify the products/services that can be jointly created with the Partners / Anchors i.e. business 'Use Cases'
  • Lead and facilitate discussions internally to validate the new growth opportunities & Use Cases that are replicable and allow deepening into the client ecosystem
B. Ecosystem strategy and standards
  • Ensure value exchange is clearly defined and documented for all Partners and Use Cases are replicable or in-sync with ecosystem strategy
  • Manage relationships with Partners and ensure business targets are achieved
  • Track and alert any structural changes to the agreed value exchange
  • Ensure the governance of the Ecosystem Frameworks as defined by Group and Operational Risk are adhered to
C. Experimentation
  • Drive experiments that deliver the Use Cases envisaged as part of the ecosystem road-mapping
  • Work with the Ecosystems Analytics team to define hypothesis, approach and expected outcomes
  • Steer and promote the continuous experimentation culture in Singapore and across core markets
  • Work with Ecosystem Partners, Anchors to continuously identify new areas opportunities for data capture and instrumentation
D. Collaborate with coverage, channels, product and technology teams to drive the
successful execution and implementation of the Ecosystems strategy and playbook

Requirments
  • Between 6 to 10 years in ecommerce / financial services / management consulting or related industries - AVP to VP rank
  • Basic understanding of digital toolsets such as Cloud, API's, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Blockchain and Digital Wallets is a key requirement
  • Experience in dealing with Fintech or eCommerce companies is an added advantage
  • Understanding of Corporate Banking products
  • Experience in providing cash or trade finance solutions to specific industry verticals
  • Demonstrated success in client engagement and engaging internal partners to designing solutions, track record of delivering impactful business solutions
  • Experience in working cross-functionally and across regions and functions to drive partnership development, program success and KPIs
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Highly adaptable, self-starter, ability to deal with ambiguity, thrives in fast-moving and high-growth environments, bias towards action.
