The Global Application Tech Support is responsible to provide technical and operational assistance for all Monitoring Applications. The tech support is to partner with multiple technology teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals; identify and define necessary system enhancements; analyze existing system logic, identify problems; and recommend and implements solutions. The Apps support tech is responsible having a good understanding of apps support procedures and concepts and knowledge of other technical areas to maintain, identify and define enhancements to existing applications and their operating environments; thus, making recommendations for improvements.

The overall objective is to use infrastructure technology knowledge and identified policies to process data, resolve issues and execute administrative tasks.

The ideal candidate will be responsible and resourceful software professional who can comfortably work in a large technology team in a globally distributed, dynamic work environment, focusing on teamwork and collaboration. The ability to work in high pressured environment is essential.


  • Responsible for all applications supported by ATM COE
  • Contribute to technical direction and strategic decisions
  • Review and create scripts for SQL & Oracle DB & Gather necessary data / examples to diagnose problems
  • Perform impact analysis solve/work high impact problems/projects, and provide resolutions to restore services
  • Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) post restoration of service
  • Design testing approaches, complex processes, reporting streams, and create automation of repetitive tasks
  • Review requirement documents, define hardware requirements and examine and update processes and procedures as necessary
  • Provide technical/strategic direction and act as advisor/coach to lower-level analysts
  • Responsible for overall operating system applications
  • Consults with end users to identify system specifications and incorporates into overall system design.
  • Find ways to assess and improve the design of the existing programs, optimize performance and improve resiliency
  • Develop or determine problem resolution
  • Test resolution on development system
  • Develop projects required for design of metrics, analytical tools, benchmarking activities and best practices
  • Obtain operational approval of test results and implementation plan
  • Follow Citi IT change implementation requirements
  • Participate in required conference calls for all issues that impact applications
  • Ensure prompt resolution and SLA compliance
  • Plan and implement system enhancement requests
  • Work in close co-ordination with Technology, Business Managers, and other stakeholders to fulfill the delivery objectives
  • Partners with senior team members and leaders and a widely distributed global user community to define and implement solutions
  • Ability to collaborate and clearly communicate with team members of an organization
  • Assess deliverables, identify critical paths and dependencies
  • Estimate time and cost requirements
  • Establish development plan, schedule, and risk / contingency plans
  • Test any system changes in development environment prior to implementation
  • Coordinate scheduling and implementation of request solution
  • Follow Citi IT change implementation requirements
  • Communicate request status to the internal Citi customers
  • Document timely status updates on assigned trouble tickets and maintenance requests
  • Performs other duties and functions as assigned
  • Assist with training activities as needed
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


  • 3+ years' experience in SQL and PL/SQL scripting and debugging
  • 3+ years' experience with Oracle development and monitoring tools including Toad, Sql, and Developer
  • Windows Server
