You will be responsible for and directly involved in the following;

- Full life-cycle of deals including; initial due diligence, pitch deck preparation, writing of credit memos, strategy and portfolio management
- Assist with deal evaluation and structuring, financial (including credit) and valuation analyses and modelling using various methodologies, coordinating efforts with various departments across the Bank (e.g., Financial Markets / Syndications / Corporate Sales)
- Provide deal recommendations to management, highlighting strategic rationale, business drivers and risks
- Interpret data involving revenues, budgets and scorecards of clients and deals
- Assist with managing client portfolios across various segments (e.g., Retail, Office, Hospitality and Industrial) as well as revenue and credit risk
- Handle the Commercial Real Estate global segment business portfolio, including financial performance, budget, deal pipelines and strategy to drive business performance
- Collaborate with the management team to develop their growth strategy, identification of business opportunities and driving strategy implementation
- Build detailed financial models to evaluate performance under various operating scenarios and to analyse the impact of different capital structures and potential M&A transactions
- Participate in both origination and execution of transactions, from pitch phase through to closing
- Prepare presentation materials for use in client meetings, covering topics such as strategic alternatives, capital markets activity and general corporate finance
- Support and participate in the origination and execution of equity and debt transactions including due diligence and drafting of documents
- Maintain up to date knowledge of clients and target markets
- Research and analysis of markets and industries
- Research and financial analysis of companies based on company information, research reports, and other information sources
- Timely drafting of credit analysis which includes but not limited to the following;
- Completion of credit analysis including but not limited to Group Mandate / BCA Part 1, Part 2, financial analysis/spreads, scorecards in alignment with Credit Policy for relevant approvals
- Supporting business on structuring deals
- Documentation support on credit aspects
- Testing and Monitoring Covenants and Risk Triggers
- Credit stress testing
- Coordinate efforts with deal team members across the Bank
- Complete all required credit and regulatory examinations
- Maintenance of trading comparables, news runs, team budgets and other administrative tasks that may be required
- Assist in any internal submissions and periodic monitoring where required including those related to credit
Ideal Profile / experience
- 5+ years in Commercial Real Estate industry with prior experience in a top-tier investment bank with a track record in Structured Debt, Project Finance, M&A, Capital Markets, Financial Markets or Structured Trade transactions is essential
- Relevant Qualification with relevant industry experience or Degree or post graduate qualified from a top-tier school
- Must be able to excel as a team player, be collaborative while also being self-motivated
- Strong analytical and communication skills and be able to perform solid financial evaluation and excel abilities
- Strong work ethic, detail orientation and a passion for excellence
