Job Purpose:

Responsibilities:

• Work with the Enterprise Data Office and IBG Group Data Steward to establish and implement data policies, standards and guidelines.
• Support IBG Group Data Steward to embed the IBG data governance framework in 14 countries.
• Coordinate IBG Country Data Stewards to track and deliver data governance goals for IBG.
• Coach, support and monitor IBG Country Data Stewards, Data Owners and Application Managers to strengthen data governance in Business and IT.
• Define and lay out the data architecture and roadmap for Group IBG
• Govern the implementation of data deliverables are in accordance to the data architecture and roadmap
• Review and govern the data modelling and its design for data deliverables.
• Implement a regional Data Quality program, including - identify Critical Data Elements, perform regular data quality assessment, build data profiling tools, track data issues and facilitate issue resolution.
• Improve access and speed to data by working with Legal, Compliance and Business to define and document Data Access roles and guidelines.
• Develop and report key metrics on data governance.
• Organize and conduct governance committee meetings involving senior data stakeholders (e.g. IBG Customer Management & Analytics Platform Council)

Requirements:

• 10 or more years of work experience, with at least 5 years in data management / data governance / data modeling, including data quality management and metrics, and business metadata management.
• Knowledge and understanding of banking data like customer information, products and transaction information.
