Responsibilities:
  • Identify, assess, report, perform root cause analysis on operational risk incidents arising within the business
  • Provide relevant operational risk related guidance to various stakeholders across the line of business
  • Develop and deliver training for the business to promote risk culture and awareness of operational risk and controls
  • Facilitate Risk and Control Self Assessments (RCSA), by engaging stakeholders across business, to perform, review and ensure integrity and robustness of assurance test results
  • Manage and support risk and compliance reporting
  • Organise SG IBG Business Control Committee including planning of areas of focus and risk and control improvements
  • Support the unit's Business Continuity Planning activities
  • Engage stakeholders to facilitate and follow up with issues and reviews from internal/external audit and regulators. To ensure timely completion of agreed actions and/or escalate as needed
  • Coordinate and provide oversight to various ad-hoc / recurring activities within IBG SG to comply with regulatory requirements (e.g. PDPA, FATCA / CRS etc.)
Requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree with at least 6-10 years of relevant experience in a banking environment
  • Understands Bank's policies and processes, knowledge of IBG owned or related policies/processes will be an advantage
  • Ability to distil, link and connect vast amounts of information and data, and highlight key issues for decision making
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with a good sense of the business environment and attention to details
  • Strong communicator with good written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Enjoys working in and has the ability to deliver results in a dynamic and challenging environment, with strong ability to multi-task
  • Candidates with Relationship Manager experience will be an advantage
