Wealth Credit Management (WCM) at Citi is a newly formed business line to provide integrated end to end credit underwriting, transaction, and portfolio management in partnership with all the origination businesses of the Private Bank and Wealth Management of Citi. We are looking to hire an experienced professional to contribute to the implementation Loan Management Team (LMT) within Loan Product and Transaction Management in WCM.

CPI will be responsible for owning Credit System Infrastructure and managing technology implementations globally for Private Bank and Wealth Management. This includes upgrading existing system functionalities and implementing new capabilities to fully align to WCM framework. This team will drive the technology re-invention and work closely with technology partners to define and implement key projects and strategic initiatives. This team will also be responsible to manage the systems updates required to comply with various regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the business requirement discussions and provide subject matter expertise on various technology implementations
  • Participate in business requirement and solutioning discussions, prepare requirements and other project documents
  • Closely work with user community and technology teams to determine and implement tactical and strategic solutions
  • Participate in process re-engineering efforts by producing process documents, flows and related artifacts
  • Perform data mapping, data analysis to facilitate implementation of the global standards as per defined data strategy
  • Participate in user acceptance testing, functional validation and tracking issues
  • Contribute to the resolution of internal data exceptions in timely and accurate manner, execute cleanup measures
  • Respond to ad-hoc requests, escalations from end-users and coordinate with technology teams for timely redressals


Knowledge, Experience and Skills:
  • Prior experience of working in large, complex, and fast-moving initiatives across banking, regulatory or data management landscape is required
  • Strong business analysis skills are required
  • Knowledge in programing languages is required to review and challenge tech proposals
  • Proficiency in Excel / VBA / Access / Power Point & Word is highly recommended
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines
  • Knowledge on credit underwriting and end-to-end approval process is recommended
  • Good understanding of Loan Product is strongly preferred
  • Understanding of Private Bank systems and system data flows is a plus
  • Ability to work in an environment where priorities are frequently changing
  • Excellent documentation and visual presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task through the practice of strong organizational and time management skills with experience in continuously following-up with various stakeholders and execution team
  • Ability to identify issues and promptly escalate to the relevant stakeholders
  • Understanding of process redesign / re-engineering and execution
  • Sound understanding of Data Management functions with prior experience in data quality initiative and data quality issue resolution programs is desirable
  • Awareness of emerging technologies to drive analytics for banking and financial services
  • Working in large remediation efforts and meeting critical deadlines


Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in large financial institution, specially in lending product, is a must
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience with exposure and transactions reporting tools
  • Excellent oral and written communication capability
  • Ability to take initiative and self-motivate
  • Developed analytical and problem-solving abilities
