Department Overview

Bank of Singapore serves a large number of UHNW families and Financial Intermediaries globally. The Global Investors & Family Offices (GIFO) and Financial Intermediaries Excellence Centre (FIMEC) develop and oversee the implementation of strategic initiatives aimed at creating unique value propositions to grow our business across all markets. We develop strategies based on clients' needs, and work with internal specialists and external stakeholders to execute the plan.

Job Overview

You will be responsible for providing business management support to the Segment in the areas of strategic initiative management, data collection, research on competitive landscape, communication management and business pipeline reporting.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced private bankers and other key stakeholders across different functions of the bank such as but not limited to Product Management, Marketing, L&D, Compliance, Product Owners etc. to build a strong platform for the segment, & deliver a seamless, differentiated proposition to our clients.

Responsibilities:

Reporting & Data extraction
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and dashboard
  • Data extraction on existing client information to facilitate prospecting
  • To perform data cross-check and verification on data manually extracted
  • Participate in clean up exercises on data as and when required
Business Analysis & Project Management Support
  • Support in strategy execution, follow ups, tracking/monitoring of GIFO/FIM meetings
  • Track progress & update status for innovation projects
  • Prepare PowerPoint decks for presentations
  • Document Business Requirement for System enhancement and Participate in User Acceptance Tests (UAT) for enhancements impacting the business
  • Administration of application for services (EQ Connect, Data feed)
  • Any other administrative tasks as and when required
Research
  • Perform research and gather information on all matters & news concerning the family office ecosystem and private market deal flows
  • Curating relevant content/ articles of interest for social media posts
Communication management
  • Prepare segment newsletter by sourcing and collating relevant content on competitive landscape, success stories and platform updates
  • Platform update communications to Front Office
  • Regular update of Segment Intranet page with latest information on services, success stories, newsletters, segment numbers and other useful information for Front Office

Qualifications

Requirements
  • Degree holder in Business Management/ Finance/ Operation Management/ Economics/ Communication
  • Proficient in Excel and Powerpoint. Knowledge in designing Sharepoint site or use of similar tool is a plus
  • Demonstrates critical thinking skill
  • Meticulous, structured & fast learner
  • Take strong ownership of assigned tasks & comfortable with multi-tasking
  • Good research & writing skills is a plus
  • Effective team player
  • Open to candidates from other background with strong interest in pursuing Business Management career with private banks
