About the Department
The Retail function provides Personal and Business Banking customers with financial solutions tailored to their needs. We help them manage their money wisely and meet their financial goals through an extensive range of products and services. These include deposit, insurance, secured and unsecured loans, investment and wealth advisory services.

Personal Financial Services
We design and provide products and services that empower our customers to enjoy greater banking convenience while they extract more value from their money. In particular, we are focused on promoting and developing healthy saving and investment practices across generations.

Job Responsibilities
As part of the Client Acquisition Team, you will acquire high affluent customers for UOB Privilege Banking and Privilege Reserve. You will work closely with Privilege Banking Client Advisors (CAs) and Privilege Reserve Senior Client Advisors (SCA) to provide and deliver a Total Wealth Management experience to new and existing high affluent clients.

Your key responsibilities include:
  • Responsible for acquisition of highly affluent clients with Asset Under Management of $350,000 and above, not restricted to Singapore resident via tele-prospecting, Networking and Privilege events
  • Perform account opening and promote a suite of exclusive depository products and services
  • Conduct KYC on New to Bank clients as part of bank's front line to detect and deter Money Laundering
  • Engage Banca First Touch(BFT) for all New-to-PV/R clients as part of holistic client onboarding journey ; Introduce concept of legacy planning ie Multiply /Safeguard / Distribute concepts
  • Provide timely and efficient processing on account opening and other account-related matters
  • Ensure compliance and legal guidelines are adhered to with all internal policies and external regulations
  • Provide top quality services and improving portfolio coverage through advisory of wealth and deposit products
  • Provide financial advisory services as well as appropriate financial and investment solutions and advice to our affluent and high net worth clients in Singapore
  • Be knowledgeable about landscape of UOB product suites; Facilitate the transmission of information to our clients
  • Understand clients' financial objectives, tolerance for risk in a regulated role
  • Provide customers with timely information, advice and recommendations to fit their requirements

Job Requirements
  • A recognized university degree.
  • At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the banking / financial industry, experienced in financial & investment product sales
  • Good knowledge of wealth management & investment products
  • Self-motivated, with strong sales drive and energy
  • Track record of excellence
  • Possess relevant accreditation (M1B, M5, M6, M6A, M8, M8A, M9, M9A HI)*
  • Experience / Ability to liaise with clientele from respective markets such as Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and China
