About the Department
The Retail function provides Personal and Business Banking customers with financial solutions tailored to their needs. We help them manage their money wisely and meet their financial goals through an extensive range of products and services. These include deposit, insurance, secured and unsecured loans, investment and wealth advisory services.

Retail Loan Operations Centre provides back office loan operations support in processing of loan transactions to business segment: -

• Personal Financial Service (Mass Market)
• Privilege Banking
• Privilege Banking Reserve
• Private Banking

Job Responsibilities

• Perform general administrative support and consumer loans processing
• Contribute and work actively to achieve Key Performance Indicator (KPI)
• Ensure compliance of regulatory and internal policy
• Assist the Ops team on internal / external audit and compliance to internal and external guidelines
• Lead, supervise and manage team members efficiently & effectively to achieve high productivity and performance standard
• Ensure timely delivery of all products' Service Level Agreement (SLA)
• Review team member's performance to identify knowledge gaps and identify ways to enhance their competency
• Provide objective feedback to team members during the half-yearly / annual performance appraisal exercise
• Cultivate good team spirit, co-operation and commitment amongst team members to create a cohesive working environment
• Plan tasks, manage own time and resources to complete goals
• Identify and provide constructive feedback and effective solutions to resolve immediate issues / operation gaps
• Ensure prompt follow up action to resolve these issues
• Participate and assist in Projects undertaken by the Division and support its successful implementation within agreed time frame and budget

Job Requirements

• Minimum a recognized degree in relevant field

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the banking / financial services industry
• Sound knowledge of banking operations, products and regulatory requirements
• Excellent communication, critical thinking and analysis and problems solving skills
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Able to design controls and present the process in a clear and concise manner
• Independent and reliable to complete tasks effectively and efficiently to achieve goals
• Pleasant personality, co-operation and approachable
