Your key responsibilities:
  • Join a talented and passionate team of solution oriented Network engineers.
  • As a Service Operations Manager in Global Network Services, lead the L2 Network Operations team in Singapore
  • Your responsibilities include support of a robust and resilient network infrastructure which enables Deutsche Banks 24x7 client centric business.
  • You will work with global colleagues to identify problems, implement improvements, train colleagues and help to leverage technology to provide secure, stable and innovative connectivity to Deutsche Bank and its clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Service operations role to lead and oversee team of Level 2 network engineers that plays a vital role in facilitating proper operation, maintenance, and restoration of high-speed global data network.
  • Designing and governing the various steps of service processes, KOPs and overseeing the recruitment and training of staff.
  • Monitors overall network performance on a regular basis and initiates plans to respond to any need for more network resources.
  • Acts as an escalation point for tier 1/2 operations engineers
  • Participate in effective handovers between Build and Run teams and during shift handovers.
  • Lead timely escalations to technical and management teams and engage vendor escalation services (Cisco TAC, JTAC, Checkpoint, McAfee)
  • Monitors and maintain Service Level Agreement (SLA) with vendors for infrastructure and services provided.

Your skills and experience:
  • 10 years or more of networking industry experience with Enterprise networks with at least 5 of those in a team lead level
  • Experience in Financial institution enterprise networks is a must for the role.
  • Plan and execute critical activities like building power downs, disaster recovery and Full Loss Scenario exercises.
  • Process design, improvements, training for L1 and L2 engineers
  • Experience with configuration and support of Cisco and Arista product portfolio in Routing and Switching.
  • Liaison with Operations Level 1 / Level 2 Engineer, Advanced Services other IT groups regionally and globally for support and resolution of high priority incidents.
  • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting problems pertaining to IP routing and network protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, RIP, spanning tree, multicast etc.)
  • Able to use network management tools, Netflow, Splunk and Wireshark as a sniffer for troubleshooting purposes

Role is required to be performed on-site at One Raffles Quay office. Relevant vaccination requirement applies.
