Group Human Resources has the important role of attracting, retaining and nurturing talent to ensure that DBS continues to be a competitive employer in Asia. We work with a well-established team of HR professionals to support and deliver effective people-based solutions and services across DBS. The communications team uses multiple channels to drive internal awareness and adoption of HR programmes among employees across the bank. We also use external channels to increase DBS's employer brand to attract the best talent for the bank.

As an Assistant Vice-President, Communications Specialist, Group HR Communications , you will explore new, impactful ways to touch people with the DBS employer Brand - including, but not limited to, the development and marketing of compelling content that serves to position DBS as a dynamic, innovative employer for employees to "Live Fulfilled".

You are a passionate communicator who creates content for the bank's HR offerings and programmes, one who not only speaks to future and current employees but engages them meaningfully across multiple channels. You are a content creator who works collaboratively with internal HR product owners to create communications materials, not limited to eDMs, awards submissions, media requests, talking points, video scripts, presentations and telestrations. You are also able to independently advise product owners on marketing strategies, communications campaigns, and channel strategies to increase employee adoption.

Exciting, fast-paced and creative, a typical workday might look like this:

  • Develop effective communication content to support internal HR products for employees; including copywriting, presentations, collateral, digital content, email blasts, telestrations and video scripts.
  • Manage timelines and deliverables and related project management tasks, such as file management, tracking changes, backing-up files, routing work for proofreading, sending files to vendors, gaining internal approvals, etc.
  • Work with vendors, other parties within DBS and DBS HR country representatives in the region to align brand and marketing assets to ensure they adhere to Brand, internal campaign or messaging guidelines.
  • Embed and use analytics and metrics to measure effectiveness of campaigns and to further strengthen engagement with our target audiences.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the region to ensure best practice sharing on people, content and processes.
  • Support team management in improving internal processes, stakeholder satisfaction and reporting.
  • Provide support at events and meetings as required, including event production, AV support, photography, etc.
We want savvy digital natives like you with:

  • Excellent communication, marketing and storytelling abilities with demonstrable experience in outstanding content production and marketing (written, video, telestrations, etc.).
  • Very comfortable with use of social media/ digital tools & channels.
  • Strong project management skills, especially in managing timelines, stakeholders, expectations and scope.
