Who we're looking for

We are looking for a capable individual who has a passion to help people in driving and adapting changes in the organization. As part of the Global Operation Change function, the business analyst will be supporting the operations team to assess and validate the IT solution, establish business processes and controls to be ready to support change implementation.

The team

The APAC Operations Change team works closely with our businesses, other change functions and technology to drive strategic change and new business enablement.

What you'll do

As the Business Analyst at Schroders, you will play a key role to support the business expansion and enablement for the Operation functions to undertaking detailed analysis on business requirements, partnering with Technology / Innovation team to design the fit-for-purpose solution, co-ordination of business validation and business readiness activities to enable the change or new business.
  • Work with Operations stakeholders to identify and document business requirements
  • Establish and reinforce open and effective communication between Operations business clients, IT partners, vendors, central programme teams and other departments to deliver the Operations scope.
  • Deliver the project in time and in quality to meet business objectives
  • Adhere to project cadence and governance framework and provide regular status update to project / program manager and highlight key delivery risks, issues, dependencies with mitigation actions / owners identified.
  • Ownership of project artefacts and outputs to global Workstream initiative standards
  • High possibly of contract extension or conversion to permanent term, subject to performance and annual budget planning

The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
  • Possess strong Business Analysis skillset with at least 8 years of relevant BA experience
  • Experience in delivery projects of medium to large scale in the Financial Industry
  • Preference is given to candidates with Investment Operations and onboarding experience

The knowledge, experience and qualifications that will help
  • Prior experience in or knowledge of working on Aladdin
  • Understand the Asset Management industry and market practice in Asia
  • Candidates with PMP or Prince II project certification
