Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Support the Product Head to manage the loans portfolio by understanding business challenges & applying data expertise to proactively identify solutions and generate actionable insights to grow the loan business, optimise profits and returns.
  • Build repository of business transaction information involving structured extraction, cataloguing and systemized extraction of information for actioning by the product or sales team. This includes maintenance of data sources from internal and external sources.
  • Support the implementation of digital strategy for the secured loan business through data analysis for conceptualization of digital campaigns, and the tracking of campaigns pre and post implementation
  • Design, plan and implement new products and features
  • Work with business chain stakeholders to ensure that our product policies and process is relevant and competitive, with the appropriate risk management & controls in place
  • Ensure that all product documentation is properly maintained and annual reviews/approvals are completed on time

Reporting:
  • Direct reporting to Head Car, Renovation and Wealth Financing , Consumer Secured Lending


Qualifications
Requirements:
  • University degree
  • Ability to analyse, identify, visualize and describe key trends within large datasets
  • Prior exposure to analytical software tools (such as SAS / Python / R); or leading database environments (Oracle / Teradata / Cloudera Hadoop / SQL); or reporting tools (Qlikview / Power BI) or campaign management (Unica / SAS /Adobe) will be an advantage.
  • Possess strong interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills.
  • Has drive, initiative and ability to work independently as well as in a team
