This role sits within the consumer banking business as part of the Singapore country marketing team supporting the Retail Bank Marketing scope of work.


Support the segment marketing lead in the overall marketing of the retail bank's segment offerings - across emerging affluent to affluent segments - to drive acquisition, portfolio quality and penetration; and deepen client engagement

Responsible for executing on strategic and tactical campaigns (launch and sustenance) in these areas and growing the bank's share of voice in the wealth space to drive brand preference

Showcase and articulate the retail bank's value proposition to prospects and clients, including the expertise it offers and its digital wealth tools and capabilities

This individual is also expected to have the capabilities to deploy full-funnel paid marketing campaigns, determine effective media mix across traditional and digital marketing, target the right audiences; and track and optimise performance in order to achieve target media KPIs and business outcomes

Manage external creative and media agencies to develop and deliver best-in-class marketing campaigns across paid and owned channels

Work closely with business stakeholders across product, segment, legal and compliance, finance, channel execution teams as well as with regional marketing counterparts

Maintain all aspects of the marketing budget to ensure effectiveness in marketing spend, as well as invoice payments, accruals, forecasting, expense reconciliation and audit report

Act as brand gatekeeper for the segment sub-brands and ensure alignment with global and regional brand positioning

Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency

  • 6-8 years of relevant experience in a financial institution or agency managing FI accounts
  • Experience in digital and social marketing, demonstrated ability to help shape creative work and media strategy
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven analytical, project and process management skills
  • Good understanding of the retail banking business specifically in the areas of wealth and investments; as well as the emerging affluent and affluent client segments

  • Bachelor degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or Economics
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite & Outlook, Adobe Analytics/Audience Manager/Target
