VP/AVP Control Tower and Business Insights Specialist, IBG Ecosystems

Corporate and Investment Banking provides corporate customers with a full range of commercial banking products and services, including cash management services, current accounts, time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans and foreign exchange. IBG Ecosystems comprises of 3 growth engines under Platforms, Big2Small and Industry Verticals. We aim to orchestrate and create value to our clients in participation of Supply Chain programs or platforms leveraging on DBS client network and digital solutions.

As part of the team, you will be responsible to work with the Horizontal Organisation (HO) chapters and squads to embed and execute DDOM and Control Tower practices to support IBG Ecosystems growth aspirations and deliverables. You will also be responsible in supporting the running of IBG Ecosystems Group Control Tower cadences, contents and compositions.

Key Responsibilities

• Leads and drives with IBG Technology and IBG DCOE on new data instrumentation, ingestion, development and delivery of IBG Ecosystems 360 analytics/operational clusters
• Supports the data experiments and use cases including acquiring data, analysis of data, formulating and testing of hypotheses
• Works closely with the HO leads/owners to update the Business Value Maps and communicate on progress of levers, drivers and outcomes with data visualisations or analysis. Applies 4As (Ask, Acquire, Analyse and Action) to discover and define the key requirements on DDOM and Control Tower use cases
• Collaborates closely and leverage reusable assets from Bank's initiatives like Merlion and IBG MarTech to drive marketing campaigns. Provides insights to sharpen business opportunities, conversions, cross sell and client engagements
• Participates in Control Tower cadences and various data-driven initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance/ Financial Engineering with at least 6-8 years of business analyst experience or equivalent
• Project Management, Business Intelligence and Quantitative Analysis experience preferred
• Strong in data analytics including understanding of Data Governance, Data Definitions and Data Quality aspects. Proficient in data programming like Python, SQL as well as visualisation platforms such as Tableau, Qlikview, Power BI etc
• Proficient in statistical analysis tools, customer science and process mapping will be useful
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to deal with ambiguity, fast moving and high-growth environments
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work close with various stakeholders to influence and deliver impactful outcomes based on quantitative analysis
• Ability to multi-task and work under tight timelines
• Knowledge in Corporate/ Transaction Banking a plus
