Risk Management Group works closely with our business partners to manage the bank's risk exposure by balancing its objective to maximise returns against an acceptable risk profile. We partner with origination teams to provide financing, investments and hedging opportunities to our customers. Responsibilities

The role is responsible for managing the strategy for Credit Portfolio (Acquisition and Collections) within the Singapore Consumer Banking Group Credit team, covering the following:
  • Monitor, develop and execute portfolio credit strategies including acquisition and portfolio management
  • Use analytical tools and quantitative analysis to identify patterns in portfolio and new applications to develop loss mitigation strategies
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management around portfolio quality and credit strategy, policies, and procedures
  • Partner with business units and other stakeholders to develop credit strategies to meet business goals
  • Provides operational support to Collections team
  • Manages the end-to-end of Restructure applications
  • Understand and gain deep knowledge of end-to-end processes and systems, ideate, recommend, and implement control and drive continuous improvement to gain efficiency and productivity while reducing manual errors
  • Handle system and non-system related projects including working with various stakeholders, contributing towards project discussions, providing user requirements and inputs for user acceptance test
Requirements
  • A degree holder with minimum 8-10 years' working experience in a role within Collections, Operations or Credit Risk Management
  • Highly analytical and love to analyze data to generate information
  • Excellent communicator to present and explain your strategies to multiple internal stakeholders
  • Team player with good inter-personal skills and ability to work with the team as well as multiple cross-functional stakeholders
  • Good problem solving and process improvement skills
  • Good leadership and management skills to motivate and coach staff
