About the Department
The Retail function provides Personal and Business Banking customers with financial solutions tailored to their needs. We help them manage their money wisely and meet their financial goals through an extensive range of products and services. These include deposit, insurance, secured and unsecured loans, investment and wealth advisory services.

Personal Financial Services
We design and provide products and services that empower our customers to enjoy greater banking convenience while they extract more value from their money. In particular, we are focused on promoting and developing healthy saving and investment practices across generations.

Vice President for Cards Portfolio Management
Candidate will be responsible for the following:
  • Conceptualise and execute new features/strategies to drive retail loans (i.e. Smartpay - fee-based instalment payment plans) and 0% instalment payment plans (0% IPP)
  • Run usage marketing programmes and awareness communications to drive take-up of Smartpay and 0% iPP
  • Deepen relationship with strategic merchant partners, through joint partner programs, marketing initiatives and building up new pillars of growth for new growth areas like electricity market
  • Initiate and run marketing programmes to drive recurring transactions for Cards.
  • Work with marketing analytics on propensity models to drive portfolio activities.
  • Manage customer issues relating to punitive fees (late fees/ finance charges)
  • Liaise with associations like Visa and MasterCard to benchmark performance and identify emerging trends/ opportunities for the business
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders; Marketing, Digital, Web team, Campaign, Analytics, Operations and Technology, Legal & Compliance, Contact Centre etc to roll out new initiatives.
  • Perform regular reporting, analysis and presentation of key business performance results to senior management


Job Requirements
  • Good Degree
  • Minimum 8 years of product/marketing management experience, preferably in unsecured lending, cards or portfolio management
  • Strategic thinker, highly numerate and strong analytical abilities
  • Good communication skills (spoken and written) and ability to critique marketing collaterals
  • Ability to communicate persuasively and, influence stakeholders and senior management
  • Resourceful and independent.
  • Strong project management skills and meticulous with keen eye for details
  • Candidates with prior experience will be considered very favorably
