OCBC Securities - We are a leading brokerage firm in Singapore with more than 30 years of experience in securities, derivatives, leveraged foreign exchange and futures trading.
Reporting to the Head of Digital Business, the roles and responsibilities of the VP, Global Markets & Connectivity are:
  • Responsible for promoting Foreign Markets trading and introducing new platform features through various communication channels to the customers
  • Adept at retrieving, analyzing and drawing actionable conclusions from data collection, conduct research on competitors, identify opportunities for client conversions and make recommendations on how to boost Foreign Markets trading with relevant marketing strategies
  • Devise, develop and execute incentive schemes, promotional campaigns and other marketing activities to promote Foreign Markets trading
  • Perform in-depth study of the trading platform capabilities that will attract customers, research on competitors and create appropriate marketing campaigns for the online trading platform
  • Passionate with improving the customer's experience in all spheres, from familiarity with trading system maintenance and design, to evaluating trading apps features and content
  • Work closely with Customer Value team and other key departments within the OCBC Group to create social and marketing media content to promote Foreign Markets trading and iOCBC trading platform
  • Function as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in foreign markets and trading platform to properly market the value and benefits of trading with OCBC Securities
  • Collaborate with the sales teams, distribution channels and customer support to conduct training and briefing on foreign markets, existing and new platform features
  • Act as the content owner of the foreign markets and trading platform publish on our public portal and ensure that the trading platform user guide are properly maintained and updated
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors who supplied the products and services needed for trading in Foreign Markets and the trading platform
  • Manage the marketing budget of team and monitor trade volume and other related statistics to track the success of the marketing activities, and for management reporting or meetings
  • Attend to High Net Worth and VVIP Clients where required
  • Support in other BAU activities of the department as and when required


Qualifications
Requirements:
  • Preferably with at least 5 years of experience in a similar industry
  • Good communication skills both verbally and in writing, and able to articulate thought processes clearly
  • Energetic individual with a pleasant and cheerful disposition is essential
  • Ability to multi-task and work to deadline, operating both alone and as part of a team
  • A good team player with initiative, drive, and good stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with the equities business and marketing experience in the same space is preferred
  • A degree holder, preferably in Business Marketing, Communications, Business Information Science or equivalent
