Your background

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in running a Project Management Office especially in Change/Release and Budget Management.
  • Sound knowledge of Waterfall and Agile Release methodologies)
  • Ability to understanding of Global Change Policy/ Standards and how to apply to practical scenarios
  • Familiarity with change management tools (Remedy, PPRT, CECE)
  • Run Project governance routines
  • Hands on delivery experience working with Agile teams and in implementing Scaled Agile/Scrum/Kanban/DevOps practices.
  • Risk Management / Mitigation and QA experience
  • Strong analytical / problem solving / process design skills
  • Strong relationship management skills to interact with senior leadership, managers, and staff throughout the organization to deliver against organizational priorities
  • Well-versed in Program/Projects' Financial Management
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Strong ability to establish relationship with peers across teams in order to achieve optimal results
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills including documentation of findings and recommendations
  • Highly proficient in projects & financial management tools and applications. MS Office Proficiency (Excel, Power Point, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Advanced Microsoft excel skills with ability to use functions like v-look up, pivot tables, & charts
  • Must have the ability to start and work independently with minimal supervision; able to work to fast paced timelines.
  • Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle, Testing is preferred
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of project accounting, forecasting both headcount and portfolio
  • Ability to create senior executive reports including recommendations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with peers and partners
  • Ability to take data, perform analytics, make recommendations and drive to agreement across multiple departments

What you can expect

Bank of America has embarked on a multi-year core banking transformation journey to replace its legacy core banking platform with modern technology platforms. As part of the core banking platform transformation, the bank is revamping its end to end ecosystem to improve operational & technological efficiency. The core banking platform supports multiple functions in Global Banking and Markets business: e.g. payments, deposits, credit, trade finance, foreign exchange, general ledger. The platform is being built in an ongoing and agile process to easily adapt to new technologies, integrate more tools, and provide a structure that is able to evolve over time. At the core of this transformation is the Bank-in-a-Box (BiB) platform. BiB uses simpler architecture and modern technology, eliminates applications, and is easier to enhance and update.

The Bank-in-a-Box (BiB) roadmap spans several years, covering Global Payments Transformation (GPT), CLI, and Branch replacement. Initiatives include SEPA Instant, HK Real Time Payments and Regulatory mandates such as Indonesia Direct Debits and Indonesia RTP. Scope has increase significantly in 2022, with implementations across APAC, EMEA and LATAM. The BiB Centre of Excellence is at the heart of this Payments Transformation Program.

A Change Manager to provide operational support for all functional areas within the technology team, including reporting and data analytics. This centralized team works closely with managers, team members, business partners and senior leaders to provide routine deliverables and other diverse administrative functions. Requires a thorough knowledge of the department's or business unit's functional operations. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will be comfortable working in a team setting and producing independent work product and completing assignments within deadlines.

What you will do

  • Lead Change/Release Management function for the team's portfolio.
  • Partner with Executives and peer Business Support Managers (BSMs)
  • Ensure adherence and consistent practices around key Change processes and requirements
  • Coordinate and drive effective management routines
  • Liaise and disseminate emerging patterns, risks and trends from Enterprise Change Management for our team.
  • Responsible for Managing releases & deployments for Global Banking Technology Projects.
  • Coordinate Change Requests creation, updates, obtain approvals and complete closure
  • Ensure participation in MRA2 Review meetings for CRQ and Evidence reviews and remediate any actions from the feedback. Perform Peer Review of MRA2 evidences.
  • Responsible for Permit To Operate (PTO) creation, updates & closure (for Project). Provide PTO inputs to PM and liaise with vendor for inputs necessary.
  • Provide Bi-Weekly update on Change management activities.
  • Provide guidance to Project team members on JIRA for release management.
  • Ensure that the work delivered complies with Enterprise Change Management standards. Track the success metrics and reviews performance with stakeholders and leadership.
  • Establish strong partnership with managers, peers and business partners to provide visibility on deliverables, timelines and support needed.
  • Coordinate and facilitate routines to support delivery - e.g. kick-offs, status reviews, financial reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, tollgates, etc.
