Your background

  • Preferably 2-5 years previous Bank , technology strategic planning or project management experience
  • Ability to succinctly convey information to executive leaders and stakeholders
  • Ability to effectively interact with a diverse set of stakeholders, quickly identify their needs and develop plans to support them
  • Ability to anticipate the next step in the process and develop proactive plans / tools to address
  • Understanding of Agile, PPRT (Project, Program Risk Tool), and other project management methodologies and tools
  • Must be a creative thinker, results-oriented individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced, challenging environment
  • Ability to manage multiple (potentially competing) tasks and to work effectively across teams
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Microsoft Excel, Data Mining, Forecasting

What you can expect

Bank of America Global Banking Technology (GBT) Asia Pacific handles technology application development and support for corporate & investment banking business in APAC region. Division designs, architects and delivers technology solutions on regional platform to drive business growth for our Commercial, Corporate & Investment Banking and Markets clients in APAC region. Division works closely with APAC GTS business for building regional business enablement and regulatory requirements on in-country, regional and global platforms.
Manages multiple related and interdependent projects and technology change initiatives. Project responsibility requires responsibility for staff and budget. Communicates, influences and negotiates both vertically and horizontally to obtain or leverage necessary resources. Ability to analyze present-state, developing alternative future-state approaches and facilitating implementation. Creates a clear, coherent approach to guide effective program/initiative setup, execution, and control. Ensures clearly defined responsibilities and accountabilities for key program/project roles. Demonstrates knowledge of end-to-end business process into program planning and deciding processes. Develop, maintain, and report on an overall integrated delivery plan. Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines. Business centric mindset with ability to utilize sound business judgment and tailor approach to drive optimal business outcomes.

What you will do

  • Responsible for managing the Cross Technology initiative and base funding allocations within Global Banking Technology (GBT)
  • Act as a liaison between technology teams and business support managers to assist with technology funding related gaps, challenges and changes
  • Developing tools and tracking mechanisms to ensure all financial decisions and changes are clearly documented and communicated on a timely basis
  • Resource and Direct Expense forecasting
  • Ensuring programs and projects are forecasted as expected from a spend perspective
  • Partnering with the Tech Teams, BSMs, PMO and in some cases LOB
  • Assisting project teams in activities to resolve planning and funding issues/gaps
  • Supporting strategic and ad hoc business support and financial needs
