Real Estate Investment Associate/ AVP

This fund manager is a JV between a leading global investment firm and a leading real estate developer in China. This fund will focus on private equity investments in China real estate market especially residential development.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Execution of real estate equity deals in China residential market, including but not limited to market/sector research, due diligence, modelling, IC memo preparation, transaction documentation, capital call reports, etc.
• On-going post-investment management, valuation (if necessary) and deal exit.
• Regular information exchange and interactions with shareholders of GP.
• Other fund operation work, including management of deal SPVs, fund raising related tasks, etc.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects as and when required

Profile

• At least 3 years in executing real estate investment deals in private equity firms, ideally with exposure to China residential development sectors.
• Solid understanding and knowledge of real estate private equity investments in both China and overseas market, experience with a developer would be a plus.
• Excellent business acumen and desire following on real estate investment trends in China private markets.
• Highly self-motivated, self-starter, high level of integrity with a diligent work ethic.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong project management skills and deadline oriented, ability to prioritise and execute multiple tasks with attention to detail.
