This role is responsible for supporting the compliance oversight process by BOS International Oversight team over the BOS overseas entities.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintain compliance governance and oversight on BOS overseas entities
  • Provide compliance advisory to compliance officers of BOS overseas entities
  • Conduct compliance onsite reviews and keep track on resolution of issues raised from such reviews
  • Conduct bank wide root cause analysis of issues and findings from audits and inspections
  • Drive BOS initiatives required under the FCC program for the BOS Group (such as entity wide risk assessment, benchmark against regulations, system implementation, etc)
  • Implement BOS Group policies and procedures across all BOS overseas entities
  • Able to effectively cascade and implement BOS Group's FCC risk appetite at other BOS overseas entities
  • Conduct compliance trainings on FCC developments and typologies
  • Work closely with BOS overseas entities to enhance respective FCC framework and program
  • Engage with relevant business partners locally, within BOS Group and OCBC Group.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS
  • A university degree in Accounting/Commerce/Finance, Banking or Law or related discipline with at least 5 years' relevant experience in financial services industry (such as private, retail, wholesale banking, insurance, asset management or securities firms)
  • Broad knowledge of business, products and operations of the financial industry, and familiar with FCC regulatory requirements impacting financial institutions in Singapore and jurisdictions which BOS operates in
  • Strong analytical skills and clear thought process
  • Strong influencing, written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to engage senior management & staff
  • Good interpersonal skills, have a collaborative mind-set and able to work effectively within a team with international exposure
  • Ability to speak in Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia/Malaysia is a definite advantage (To deal with overseas stakeholders)
  • Good analytical/communications skills and problem-solving ability
  • Able to work well under tight deadlines, handle multiple responsibilities and deliver results
  • Good operational knowledge and skills in IT applications (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc)
  • Some travelling might be required
