As a key leader in Personal Banking and Wealth Management (PBWM) Chief Data Office, you will drive execution of critical aspects of our data transformation, data strategy and data governance policy. As part of the Federated Chief Data Office organization, you will partner with data consumers to agree on the scope of critical data quality challenges and ensure that the data operating model is implemented to reduce data risk. Remediation of issues will include partnering with various business and technology functions. You will help PBWM build a deep, comprehensive, and documented understanding of PBWM's key data, data processes, and data flows. Partnering with business data stewards will be required to ensure maintenance of key artifacts and overall data quality improvements.

Key Responsibilities

The role will initially support adoption of DOM starting with Data accountability, Authoritative and Regulatory obligations related to Adjustment reduction Consent order program
To work with Business, Operations and Technology Stakeholders to help adopt CDGP Policy and Standards.
Initiate Authoritative Sources evaluation for potential source systems in APAC / EMEA
Mapping Data Domains and Data Concept(s) to Data Source(s), and identifying the System of Record (SOR), and Authoritative redistributor (AR)
Maintaining comprehensiveness, Integrity, quality and timeliness of data feeding Authoritative Sources
Identify controls gaps in Authoritative Sources and agree remediation plans including raising Correction Action Plans (CAPs)
Actively engage stakeholder to quantify materiality and risk associated with gaps and continue to maintain oversight on exposure from inception through root cause analysis until remediation of the gaps
Developing and driving implementation of Data & System controls with Data Custodians
Registering approved Authoritative Sources in Approved Tools along with respective designation (SOR/AR)
Support data and Source certification activities to demonstrate progressive risk reduction
Support Citi's Consent order commitments by Initiating and tracking series of data remediation initiatives to fix consumer data problem
Collaborate with IT teams on required Data Governance IT projects to ensure requirements are met and completed in a timely manner.
Initiate and complete Policy, Governance & Metrics annual and other relevant reviews.

Competencies/Skills/ Qualifications

Degree level or similar
Detail oriented; diligent and self-driven
Accomplished professional with 8+ years of experience in a large financial institution.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Possesses good risk and controls mindset with data experience
Seasoned go-getter who can navigate & manage ambiguities well
Proactive and Dynamic with a strategic mindset. Able to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
Strong influencing, persuasive and negotiation skills to manage large and diverse set of stakeholders.
Ability to explore alternatives and positions to reach outcomes that are supported and accepted by various parties.
Strong knowledge of PBWM processes, controls, and systems
Good mix of product management knowledge and technology background
Proven experience in managing projects with demonstrated ability to drive results and driving delivery to meet requirements
Ability to work effectively in situations requiring analytical, interpretive and problem-solving techniques.
Demonstrable ability in partnering across multi-functional, multi geographical teams
