Morgan McKinley is working in partnership with a regional Corporate Bank with strong footprints and relationship in the Asia region.
The Singapore team is looking to hire an Associate to join ther Credit Risk team. Reporting to the Head, you will be providing your expertise to perform credit risk analysis and monitoring on Asian corporates and multinationals. This includes credit rating analysis, deal analysis, risk approval processing and portfolio monitoring.
Role and responsibilities
- Spreading clients' financial information, processing and organization of different sets of internal data related to the credit portfolio.
- To analyse client's business and financial profile, prepare its corresponding rating, and manage the ratings validation process.
- To analyse proposals (new, renewal, modification and waiver) prepared by Front Office and prepare recommendations accordingly. To lead risk approval processes locally and globally.
- Post approval monitoring of the borrowers' limit utilization and potential credit issue. To recommend and implement appropriate actions accordingly.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant disciplines
- CPA or CFA qualifications would be plus point
- 3-5 years of experience in credit analysis and credit proposal preparation covering clients across different segments (MNCs and mid-cap).
- Candidate with experience in ASEAN markets are preferred.
- Strong financial analytical skill.
- Presentation and communication skills will be highly valued.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, ability to work independently, teamwork attitude and flexibility are key soft skills for the post.
- Sound Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
