We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Advisory Product Specialist (Insurance).

Principal Responsibilities

Role Purpose

Jobs in this category conduct research and provide information to the Advisory Sector and Product bankers. This information is used to support origination and execution of Mergers and Acquisitions, Leveraged Acquisition Finance, Initial Purchase Order and Debt transactions.

The key tasks for this category will include:
  • Providing information services to sector and product banking staff in HSBC
  • Conducting in-depth research across subscribed and free market databases to provide bespoke research requirements to sector and product banking staff
Requirements

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in wealth management and banking, preferably with practical experience in product management, analysis and wealth campaigns
  • Understands trends in wealth and banking, creative and able to work independently
  • Proven analytical skills and ability to implement and monitor commercialization plans
  • Comfortable with numbers and adept at using data/MI to derive critical insights and formulate action plans
  • The role is a highly interactive and collaborative one and successful candidates will be required to have good communication skills to interact and make regular contact with various stakeholders
  • Proficient use of software such as PowerPoint, Excel in order to create engaging content for reports and presentations made to senior management and key stakeholders
  • Master's/Bachelor's degree in Finance/Economics/Marketing or any other related field
The chosen candidate for this role will be required to undergo enhanced vetting. Subject to local laws, this will require the individual to satisfactorily pass a series of additional checks as part of the recruitment process and on an ongoing basis, if appointed to the role.
