The Role Responsibilities
Overview

  • Bring static images to life by creating motion graphics using 2D and 3D animation.
  • Design brand experience by providing patterns and best practices on video animation and transitions.
  • Select and edit audio fit for the brand values and tone of voice.
  • Enhance the sound quality and add sound effects to recordings.
  • Edit video clips for use in multiple social/communication channels.
  • Create short videos to highlight, recap, and promote various forums, initiatives or events.
  • Design video content for digital applications that is on-brand, reinforces our messages, engaging and appropriate for our internal and external audiences.
  • Design, inspire and layout of digital outputs in multiple formats, including effective/engaging videos, banners, emails etc for internal and external audiences.
  • Create short videos to highlight, recap, and promote various forums, initiatives or events.
  • Work autonomously and develop high-quality concepts with minimal instruction.
  • Prioritization of workload and know when to ask for direction.
  • Interpreting data in effective and visual manner--infographic, photography, typography etc.
  • Be a guru in video-related efforts-from tools to execution skills.
  • Optimize graphics and video content for social media platforms.
  • Maintain organized content files and help to organize and archive existing video and graphics files.
Our Ideal Candidate
  • Degree in motion design, visual communications, marketing, graphic design, or related field, or demonstrated success in relevant professional fields.
  • 4 + years related professional experience in a production environment.
  • Strong visual communications skills, including the ability to communicate complex concepts and data through typography, colour, imagery.
  • A current portfolio.
  • Ensures integrated communications approach, considering all audiences and communications channels.
  • Strong interest and knowledge of emerging technology trends and applications.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, customer-driven environment.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Creative mind and open to feedback and alternative perspectives.
Role Specific Technical Competencies
  • Proficient in creative tools: Adobe suite
  • Video editing programs: After effects, flash etc.
  • Presentation tools: PowerPoint, Keynote etc.
