The Changi CSC Business Manager (Site Business Manager) is responsible for managing the CSC Site business management activities including:

  • Site Governance
  • Site Communications
  • CSC Stakeholder Engagement
  • CSC Employee Engagement Agenda
  • CSC People, Talent and Culture Strategy
  • Community Investment/Corporate Social Responsibility Agenda
  • CSC Working Environment - Resource and Location Strategy (R&LS)
  • Management Reporting and Analytics
  • Leading Key Site Programs and Projects
  • Supporting the Site Leadership Team (SLT) with diversity and inclusion


Job Background/Context:

The Changi CSC Business Manager is responsible for partnering with multiple enabling functions and units to enhance the overall value proposition of the CSC in location and to fully align with the APAC CSC Network as well as the Global CSC Network Strategy and practices.

The incumbent will be responsible for driving and executing the CSC strategy, in particular in the areas of site governance, people and strategy, communication, diversity and inclusion, culture and community investment.

The Changi CSC Site Business Manager serves as the central point for ensuring consistent practices, resolving business stressors within the site, communicating within and outside of the site, and collecting, translating, and sharing essential decision-making data for the business.

Active engagement of key CSC stakeholders and business/function decision makers, marketing the CSC's value proposition and partner with functions in the migration of activities into the CSC.

Key Responsibilities

Site Governance Management:

The Site Business Manager will

  • Be a member of the Site Leadership Team (SLT), partnering in the execution of strategy, management Committee meeting coordination and tracking of activities and documentation pertaining to the CSC is accurate and relevant to partners and stakeholders
  • Partner closely with the SLT, Citi Reality Services (CRS), Citi Technology Infrastructure (CTI), Group Public Affairs (GPA), Compliance, Legal and Human Resources (HR) in the execution of Strategic priorities to optimise employee experience at the site
  • Manage site spend including managing the employee engagement budget
  • Maintain site calendar, activity tracker and site action plan
  • Maintain reporting from CSC and financial overview
  • Coordinate site level resource and location strategy (R&LS) - to include reviewing headcount and seating capacity


Communications:

The Site Business Manager will

  • Develop an effective Communications Strategy for both internal and external stakeholders and maintain a comprehensive and regular cycle of communication at site level
  • Manage regular employee information sessions including country-wide Town Halls in co- operation with Public Affairs that covers Citi performance, site updates, reward and recognition, VOE (Voice of the Employee) and community engagement accomplishments
  • Co-ordinate site visuals and site collateral materials including newsletters, posters and videos
  • Create and maintain site distribution lists
  • Maintain Intranet sites and ensure they are relevant and up to date
  • Work with Site Head and Site Leadership team, (SLT) to find opportunities for Site Head branding and employee engagement activity
  • Creative approach in writing speeches, blogs and other material for the Site Head
  • Seek opportunities and work with the in-country GPA (Group Public Affairs Office) for media appearances
  • Be the custodian of Citi's Global Communication and Brand standards across the CSC
  • Represent Singapore and the Changi CSC on regional and global CSC network calls, and within APAC Operations and Technology.


People, Talent Management and Culture

The Site Business Manager will

  • Partner with CSC HR and the Site Leadership team on promoting various employee initiatives eg. reviews site VOE results; creates working committees to address people issues at the site and sponsors site diversity networks and VOE committees
  • Partner with CSC HR on delivery and implementation of key Site level People Priorities (eg recruitment, onboarding, learning, culture, internal mobility, employee retention and recognition programs)
  • Selects and champions site Social Responsibility initiatives. Tracks participation and publicize accomplishments
  • Leads focus on employment attrition efforts along with managers and HR
  • Coordinate Senior Management visits to the site ensuring accurate representation of the attributes of the CSC
  • Support the delivery of new start Induction through ensuring all materials are up to date and active involvement in supporting presentations


Management Reporting and Analytics:

The Site Business Manager will

  • Conduct strategic data and information analysis, identify insights and implications, and make strategic recommendations regarding Changi CSC activities and metrics
  • Produce Governance and Executive reporting to track progress of metrics, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives


Community Investment Agenda (External Relationships and Brand Management):

The Site Business Manager will

  • With the Site Head establish working relationships with local business associations, government agencies, colleges, and universities
  • Partner closely in initiatives with recruitment/grad recruitment - support the Schools and Universities Portfolio
  • Oversee community engagement and be actively involved in CSR agenda Represent Citi at community events and at member business association meetings
  • Continually learn and assess global Citi messaging and programs and apply messaging to the site
  • Coordination of branding activities ensuring compliance with Citi's brand guidelines - Business Office representative on branding projects
  • Support Social Mobility and work closely with Site Head and external organisations to agree strategy


CSC Network:

The Site Business Manager will

  • Partner with the APAC CSC Network Business Management Lead in execution of Network strategic priorities and partner with local site management teams in delivery.
  • Coordinate with relevant teams on site to ensure a safe, secure and professional environment to identify improvements, create plans and escalate issues, and prepare and monitor metrics, headcount plans, technology issues and site wide issue tracking and resolution.


Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in multinational organizations in Business Management related fields
  • Strong interpersonal verbal and written communications and stakeholder management
  • Experienced in managing initiatives from design/inception to delivery, including post implementation reviews, metrics analysis, and lessons learned to further improve action plans in the future.
  • Clear understanding of Citi's' different businesses and the related economics.
