Network Security Engineer

Job Description:

Practical experience in deploying network and security equipment, such as Cisco routers, switches, Arista switches and load balancers
Provisioning new F5 build in HA, Upgrade OS & apply hotfix recommendations in F5 load balancer
Understanding the network infrastructure and ability to diagnose and resolve of F5 issues
Manage infra configuration hygiene, hardening and compliance related tasks
Manage BIG-IQ, F5 licensing for new provisioning for F5 VM build.
Administration tasks of F5 load balancer infrastructure - Critical alert checking, monitoring F5 backups and tracking performance
Advanced knowledge of network architecture design, implementation, and support
Involve with network team and engineering/architect team for F5 infra enhancement in DC environment
Work with a team of network engineers to ensure network deliverables and issues are handled accordingly and timely
Perform project assessments and evaluations as on when job demands
Keep track and manage on-going initiatives based on project schedules and timelines
Communicate and liaise with various working stakeholders and other team members to facilitate and accomplish the requirements.

Job Requirement:

Practical experience in deploying network and security equipment, such as firewalls, load balancers and proxy
In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP and OSPF running on firewall, F5 LTM, BC/Fortinet proxy with strong deployment and troubleshooting experience.
Strong technical background in managing Checkpoint and Palo Alto firewalls in implementation and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting/analysis tools, such as ELK, WireShark, Grafana etc.
Proficiency in handling complex IT-related projects: from writing a proposal, initiating, & planning projects, to executing, monitoring/controlling projects, until and including project closure.
Good team and relationship builder with excellent communication skills at all levels
Excellent document skills
Excellent organisational skills
Experience And Qualifications Required
Experience in firewall, proxy, F5 deployment services
Experience in finance industry would be advantageous
Expertise in Firewall/Proxy implementation and support
Client-oriented, strong communication and organization skills
Expertise in PMI methodology
Ability to work under pressure and delivery the project on time
