The Global Emerging Markets (GEM) business consists of Foreign Exchange, Interest Rate Derivative and Cash Bonds trading businesses. Fixed Income and Currencies business is a market leading provider of innovative investment, risk management and financing solutions to Corporates, Governments and Institutional Investors globally.

We are looking for passionate problem solvers to join the GEM Asia Electronic Trading desk as a junior quantitative trader. The team is responsible for pricing and risk managing electronic liquidity across FX & fixed income products, with a footprint covering more than 20 countries globally. We build and manage innovative algorithms to meet clients' liquidity requirements while generating sustainable commercial results.

Key Responsibilities:
As a GEM Quantitative Trader you will be responsible for:
1. Develop and maintain market-making and hedging algorithms for FX and rates products
2. Conduct quantitative research and generate analytics for the relevant markets and products
3. Design and implement electronic trading solutions for the overall GEM franchise
4. Collaborate with quants, traders, sales, clients, and engineers on green field initiatives

Candidate requirements:
1. Bachelor or above degree in quantitative or engineering disciplines
2. 0-2 years of working experience in related areas
3. Ability to break down complex problems and recognize priorities
4. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and programming skills (Python / Java)
5. Self-motivated, good team player, strong networking and communication skills
6. Knowledge of financial markets and products is a plus
