We are looking for a Senior Specialist, Project Management & Governance to join the Director's Office in Technology Group.

Responsibilities
Business Management
  • Support annual business planning and budgeting process
  • Create management reports to provide insightful analytics to drive business performance
  • Conduct, manage and analyse surveys to provide insights in the departments performance e.g. annual business satisfaction survey
  • Track department KPIs, budgets, and provide secretariat support for leadership meetings as part of business operations
  • Perform any business administration related to job activity
  • Ability to write and communicate effectively through various channels to inform and influence

Project Governance
  • Co-create an agile project governance framework that supports our way of working
  • Support, enforce and refine the existing project governance processes, policies and best practices; provide consultative advice on Project Management
  • Manage the compliance of controls including project approvals, change requests, sign-offs and closures
  • Develop and manage consolidated project status reports
  • Track the status of approved projects/programs including deliverables, costs, resources and milestones, issues, risks and report progress effectively to management/stakeholders in a timely fashion
  • Support the implementation of a project & portfolio management tool including onboarding and training of new project managers on how to use the system

Requirements
  • Experienced in Project Management and Project governance and controls, with strong track record of successful project delivery
  • Knowledgeable in agile and product management governance framework
  • PMO exposure and experience is desired
  • Financial skill and knowledge in terms of understanding budgets and reporting
  • Knowledge of the business cycle, including budgeting possess with great organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience/certification with one or more project management methodologies (e.g., Agile Scrum Master, SAFe, PMI PMBOK and PRINCE2)
  • Experience/certification with one or more change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, IAM and Kotter)
  • Knowledge of change management is preferred
  • Knowledge of project management tools (e.g., Jira, Clarity, Primavera and Planview)
  • Knowledge of business intelligence tools is a plus (e.g., Tableau, MS Power BI)
  • Good communication and engagement skills with the ability to develop and communicate the team's vision and inspire and motivate change
  • Skilled at managing business and IT stakeholder groups with tact, assertiveness and diplomacy
  • Understanding, interest and passion in current and emerging technologies and how other enterprises are employing them to drive digital business
  • Strong sense of urgency, able to manage and prioritise day-to-day workload to ensure maximum efficiencies are gained
  • Able to work independently guided by objectives with minimal supervision
  • Open-minded team layer with pleasant disposition
