Our section is responsible to promote strategic initiative by (i) screening deals originated by the regional branches, (ii) providing strategic solutions for the new type of corporate and investment banking business opportunities, (iii) initiating start-up businesses by cultivating and deepening the relationship with venture capital and startup companies, (iv) planning and promoting ESG-related businesses, and (v) managing special asset in deteriorated customers, in the Asia-Oceania region.

Job Responsibilities
The current role available is in fund investment team which invests in venture capital in Asia Oceania region. This is supporting role at front office and will collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders. Job scope includes:
  • Support fund investment activities which would include analysis, due diligence/compliance (including liaising with internal and external advisors), approval applications and documentation.
  • Responsible for handling operational matter, and reporting and monitoring functions related to Mizuho's fund investments which would include reviewing, completing or submitting (as applicable).
  • Support team lead in capturing referral business. (preferably)


Job Requirements
  • A Bachelor degree in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent in the similar field.
  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience for AVP role.
  • Fresh graduates with strong interest in this field will be considered for more junior position.
  • Good people engagement skills
  • Self-motivated and able to multi-task to manage timelines.
  • Team player.
