Key Responsibilities

The role is responsible for managing the strategy for Secured Credit Portfolio (Acquisition, Portfolio Management and Collection) within the Singapore Consumer Banking Group Credit team, covering the following:
  • Monitor, develop and execute portfolio credit strategies including acquisition and portfolio management.
  • Use analytical tools and quantitative analysis to identify patterns in portfolio and new applications to develop loss mitigation strategies.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management around portfolio quality and credit strategy, policies, procedures and for budgeting purpose.
  • Partner with business units and other stakeholders to develop credit strategies to meet business goals.
  • Work closely with Collections Strategy on champion-challenger, restructure programs; including implementing controls and driving continuous improvement to gain efficiency and productivity.
  • Handle system and non-system related projects including working with various stakeholders, contributing towards project discussions, providing user requirements and inputs for user acceptance test.
Requirements
  • A degree holder with minimum 6-8 years' working experience in a role within Credit Operations or Credit Risk Management.
  • Highly analytical and love to analyze data to generate useful information and insights.
  • Excellent communicator to present and explain strategies to multiple internal stakeholders.
  • Team player with good inter-personal skills and ability to work with the team as well as multiple cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Good problem solving and process improvement skills.
  • Good leadership and management skills.
