Regional Finance Controller (North Asia)

They are looking for an ambitious Financial Controller reporting to the ASIA Finance Director, working together with the local finance colleagues, ensuring that proper reporting and processes are in place in the region, contributing to performance optimization and supporting newly onboarded entities.

You are tasked to cover the entire financial spectrum in a multinational company with North Asia as a regional focus.

Main tasks & responsibilities
  • Monitoring the performance of the operating companies through monthly report review and analysis
  • Providing guidance to the operating companies on reporting and processes, in line with IFRS and Accounting guidelines
  • Analyzing and delivering timely and reliable information to the management and Business Group Directors (dashboards, presentations)
  • Monitoring cash optimization: providing cash forecasts and tightly monitoring Working Capital KPIs
  • Supervising and contributing to the planning & control cycle (forecasts, budgets)
  • Optimizing and managing the global risk & control framework
  • Performing financial and operational audits in the operating companies and following up on outstanding actions of internal audit
  • Responsible for M&A support and due diligence in case of the acquisition project
  • Support the newly acquired entities for new finance setup, finance tools training (JDE, Onestream, Tableau), and global integration plan to smoothly transition to their processes.
  • Ad hoc support for the region or group report and analysis needs

  • University Degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA or advanced degree/CPA preferred
  • At least 10 to 15 years' experience including 5 years in a regional finance position
  • Hands-on and pro-active team player
  • Frequent travel will be required
